ATASCADERO – The Theater Arts Department of Atascadero High School is proud to present Madagascar’s Fall 2021 production: A Musical Adventure, based on the popular family animated film! Directed by Shawna Volpa and filled with weird characters, adventures galore and an upbeat score, Madagascar will leave audiences with no choice but to “Move It, Move It!”
Alex, Marty, Melman and Gloria came out of the zoo and took the stage in this live musical spectacle. This blockbuster musical features all of your favorite crunchy friends as they escape their home in the Central Park Zoo in New York City and find themselves on an unexpected journey into the mad world of King Julian’s Madagascar. With all your favorite friends, escaping from the zoo has never been so exciting!
Five performances over two weekends will take place at the Black Box Theater at Atascadero High School, 1 High School Hill, Atascadero on Fridays and Saturdays October 22, 23, 29 and 30 at 7:00 p.m., with additional mornings offered on Saturday, Oct 23 and 30 . at 2:00 p.m.

Tickets are available for $ 10 general admission and can be purchased in advance online at ahsoneacts2019.bpt.me or BrownPaperTickets.com.
