Hi Marcus King. The 26-year-old innovative songwriter and phenomenal performer has been nominated for the Grammy Awards. Soon to become rock royalty with the release of Young Blood, a timeless blend of swagger rock and supersonic soul, drawing on his most prominent rock influences.

new blood is an album about looking at hard times in your rear view mirror, its stories of excess, salvation, breakup and addiction, are inspired by difficult and personal times. Despite difficult personal circumstances, King did his most accomplished job to date. One of his biggest fans, Dan Auerbach, raved. “Music is so deep in Marcus’ blood that he may not even realize how born he was to do this. He’s the real deal.

King has been an outlier from the very beginning. A fourth-generation musician from Greenville, SC, who learned the guitar at the age of 3 with his blues rock musician father, Marvin King. He went through difficult school years to quickly become one of the most promising young artists of our time. He followed his resounding success with The Marcus King Band, with his 2020 Auerbach-produced debut solo album, El Dorado. It earned a GRAMMY® Award nomination for “Best Americana Album” and critical praise from the New York Times on the weekend edition of NPR. . He’s opened for Chris Stapleton, Greta Van Fleet and Nathaniel Rateliff and has graced billings for Stagecoach, Fuji Rock, Rock Werchter and more. He also recently released his own custom Gibson guitar and signature Orange guitar amplifier, the MK Ultra, which sold out before it even hit stores.

King will continue to tear up the rulebook with the release of Young Blood, redefining the path to modern rock stardom with a timeless sound and a singular voice, equal parts fat and grit, that should soon establish him as the one of the most moving singers of his generation.

It’s too late
Lie, lie, lie
Save me
Pain
Good and gone
Blood on the tracks
hard working man
aim high
dark cloud
Whisper
The worst blues I’ve ever had
