Rockville Little Theater announces 74th season

Little Rockville Theater is pleased to announce the return of the theater in person for the 2021-2022 season. In business since 1948, RLT is the oldest continuously operating live theater in Montgomery County. RLT offers high quality theatrical events at reasonable prices, striving to entertain, enlighten and educate all who attend. The company offers community members the opportunity to step out of their daily lives and take on new roles as playwrights, actors, directors, costume designers, set designers and spectators.

In this, their 74e season, RLT returns to the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theater in Rockville, Maryland, with three classic plays:

Rumors
September 24 – October 3, 2021

At a gathering for their tenth wedding anniversary, the host is bleeding and his wife is nowhere in sight. His lawyer and his wife must figure out “the story” before the other guests arrive. As confusions and misunderstandings accumulate, the evening turns to classic grotesque hilarity.

Bad Seed

Christine Penmark seems to have it all, a loving husband and a girl she loves. But when a child drowns under suspicious circumstances, the whole town speculates on what really happened… was it really an accident? Who knows more than they say? Christine’s secret past is revealed, and fear turns into a chilling finale in this psychological thriller.

This loud and charming comedy of mistaken identities has delighted audiences for over two centuries with its magnificent language, elegant costumes, and absolute mirth.

A season pass for the three pieces is available for the low cost of just $ 54 for adults and $ 48 for seniors. Individual tickets for each show are also available for $ 22. Groups of 10 people or more benefit from a 10% reduction on the price of the individual ticket.
