The Nederlander Organization, one of the largest operators of live theaters and other venues in the United States, announced the acquisition of TixTrack, Inc., a ticketing technology company.
According to press releases, TixTrack, Inc. “has been focused on applying the latest modern technologies to create ticketing products that enhance the ticket buying experience for consumers, venue owners, promoters and producers.TixTrack has focused specifically on cultural organizations and special attractions, which has allowed them to meet the needs of customers who operate legitimate theaters, museums, immersive experiences, and timed-entry attractions all over the world. the world.
TixTrack co-founders Steven Sunshine and Michael Arya will continue to lead the company, alongside Chief Technology Officer Mike Ripberger. Sean Free, currently vice president of sales and ticketing at Nederlander, will also join the TixTrack management team as chief operating officer.
TixTrack is headquartered in Los Angeles with additional offices in London, Sydney and Wellington.
