Western Canada Theater will launch its 2021-2022 Courage Series with award-winning playwright Christine Quintana and translator Paula Zelaya-Cervantes.

Clean/Espejos is a bilingual play, presented in English and Spanish, which intimately explores the lives of two women from different worlds.

“This is an original and courageous exploration of the experiences of two very different women whose lives parallel each other in surprising and intriguing ways,” said WCT Artistic Director James MacDonald.

The presentation of the play will include surtitles, with speakers of either language able to follow along.

The Neworld Theater production, presented by WCT in Kamloops, is billed as a “stunning, shocking and surprisingly funny” production that also promises an emotional impact.

Genevieve Fleming plays Sarah, a Canadian guest at a wedding at a Mexican resort who crosses paths with Alexandra Lainfiesta, who plays Spanish-speaking manager Adriana.

The play will run until April 2 at the Pavilion Theater, with daily performances (except Sundays).

Tickets start at $25 and are available at the Kamloops Live box office, online at kamloopslive.com. For more information, visit online at wctlive.ca/clean.
